Ordinary people will not be very clear about the classification and difference of masks, today we will take you to understand KN95 and N95 masks.
The technical requirements and test methods of these two levels are basically the same, but they belong to the standards of different countries.
The KN95 level is one of the levels specified in the Chinese standard GB2626-2006.
N95 is one of the levels specified in U.S. Standard 42 CFR 84.
N95 type mask is one of the 9 types of anti-particulate matter masks certified by NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health). "N" means non-oily particles. "95" means that the filtration efficiency reaches 95% under the detection conditions specified in the NIOSH standard. KN95 mask is a mask with filtration efficiency for particulate matter in our country, and the filtration efficiency is greater than or equal to 95%.
The KN95 and N95 are the same thing, the standards are just inconsistent.
